Our Story
Our Journey Began 5 Years Ago…
In 2021, with the blessings of Allah ﷻ, Seminary of Sacred Knowledge – Darul Uloom Wal Hikmah was established as a full-time Islamic boarding institution in the peaceful countryside of Amherstburg, Ontario. What began as a vision to serve the Muslim community in the Windsor-Detroit region has blossomed into a thriving residential center of Islamic learning and spiritual development.
As a boarding institution, we provide students with a fully immersive learning environment where they live, study, and grow together under the guidance of qualified scholars. Our strategic location, just outside Windsor, Ontario, allows us to serve residential students from across Canada and the United States, particularly from Michigan and Ohio. The 5-acre campus provides an ideal environment for contemplation, study, and growth away from the distractions of urban life.
We are committed to reviving the Prophetic legacy by combining traditional Islamic scholarship with contemporary relevance. Our residential model ensures students are immersed in an Islamic atmosphere 24/7, creating well-rounded individuals who are firmly grounded in their faith while actively contributing to society.
