Core Subjects
Art of Quran Recitation (Tajwīd)
Recite the Qur'an as the Prophet ﷺ recited it. The varying rules and applications of Tajwīd will be taught while students memorize and recite sections of the Holy Qur'an with Tajwīd.
Arabic Grammar (Ilm Al-Nahw & Ilm Al-Sarf)
The intricate study of morphology, etymology, and verb conjugation. Students will learn the construction of phrases and sentences to analyze and translate texts.
Islamic Theology (Aqīdah)
The study of the tenets of Islam through primary sources of The Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah, as well as contemporary matters regarding Islamic beliefs.
Quranic Exegesis (Tafsīr)
Translation and exegesis of important surahs of Qur'an will be studied using classical sources of Tafsīr for deep spiritual understanding.
Prophetic Biography (Sīrah)
Studying the life of the Prophet ﷺ through authentic sources, enabling students to develop a bond with the Beloved ﷺ and instill a desire to follow his Sunnah.
Prophetic Narrations (Hadīth)
An introductory study of Hadith while learning the methods of preservation. The words and advice of the Prophet ﷺ are studied and expounded upon.
Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh)
Learn the rulings pertaining to ritual purity, prayer, fasting, and finances. Solutions to contemporary issues encountered will be explained.
Spirituality & Islamic Ethics (Tazkiyah)
Practice newly gained knowledge through the study of texts pertaining to Islamic consciousness and ethics, promoting qualities of servitude & humbleness.
